Francis Salisbury and Persis Wright had the following children:

7 i. Sylvester⁷ Salisbury #1637 was born April 3, 1802.⁽⁷⁷⁾ Sylvester died September 8, 1840 at 38 years of age.⁽⁷⁸⁾

8 ii. Sophia Salisbury #1638 was born October 8, 1803.⁽⁷⁹⁾

9 iii. Eleanor Salisbury #1444 was born in Leeds, Greene Co., NY October 8, 1804.⁽⁸⁰⁾ Eleanor died December 20, 1894 at 90 years of age.⁽⁸¹⁾ She married Silas Dean March 12, 1822. (Silas Dean #1443.) Silas was born in Rennselarsville?, NY July 24, 1798.⁽⁸²⁾ He was the son of Zephaniah Dean and Catherine Abbott. Silas died August 24, 1849 in Athens, Greene Co., NY, at 51 years of age.⁽⁸³⁾ (See Silas Dean for the continuation of this line.) He married Eleanor Salisbury, born October 8, 1804, died December 20, 1884, daughter of Francis and Persis (Wright) Salisbury, of Leeds, Greene County, New York. {later on the same page} Eleanor (Salisbury) Deane was a direct descendant of Sylvester Salisbury, born about 1629, in England or Whales, came to New Netherlands in 1664. His will was probated March 24, 1680. He married Elizabeth Beck. 13 vii. Ann Salisbury #1645 was born March 15, 1812.⁽⁸⁸⁾

14 viii. Melinda Salisbury #1647 was born March 3, 1814.⁽⁸⁹⁾ Melinda died December 21, 1897 at 83 years of age.⁽⁹⁰⁾

15 ix. Mary Salisbury #1649 was born July 9, 1815.⁽⁹¹⁾

16 x. Lydia Salisbury #1651 was born February 19, 1817.⁽⁹²⁾ Lydia died October 31, 1898 at 81 years of age.⁽⁹³⁾

17 xi. Catherine Salisbury #1653 was born April 7, 1820.⁽⁹⁴⁾ Catherine died August 2, 1849 at 29 years of age.⁽⁹⁵⁾
