Globe Temco Swift History
From the files of Cotton Conder...
Some photos and other stuff from the Swift's family tree.

Above left is the front page of the October 2, 1953 issue of "TEMCO TIDINGS".  The Plebe's U.S. Navy evaluation is covered along with some praise of Cotton's work in Saudi Arabia with the Buckaroo (right).

This is a shot of the Plebe during a 1953 demonstration in Mexico.  Cotton didn't say if the pilot was a Temco factory demo pilot or Mexican Air Force, but you gotta love that "flight suit".

Looks like the Plebe could pack quite a punch.
(Assuming it could get off the ground...)

====================

Another relative of the Swift that Cotton was involved with was the Temco TT-1 Pinto.

Above we see Cotton (far right) and his crew as they prepared to show-off the Pinto to the U.S. Navy
at Pax River.

You can click here to jump to another place on the internet
where you can read a Budd Davisson pilot report on the Pinto.

====================

A few generations apart but both Saudi Arabian.
The Saudi T-35 restored by the Swift Museum Foundation and an F-15 of the Saudi Air Force.

You can click here to jump to another place on the internet
where you can read a Budd Davisson pilot report on the Buckaroo.

PARTING SHOT...

Yes, we're even related to the Twin Navion...
Temco built those too.
