Stream Diversion Technology (SDT) SDT is a revolutionary idea pioneered by NuVision Networks Corp., and implemented in our EzMail mass email system and our Campus Shopper product lines. Other products are planned. With SDT we interrupt the normal flow of Internet communications to insert content into the transaction. We essentially use other peoples computers to distribute content. EzMail is a good example of SDT. Much like Microsoft's Hotmail and Yahoo Mail, we append content to the end of each email sent by our users. Unlike Hotmail and Yahoo Mail, the actual email transactions never go through our servers. The email and the necessary bandwidth is handled by the end users email servers. We simply divert the stream before the batch of email is sent. One copy of the content from our servers can feed thousands of emails. Over two million emails have been sent by the EzMail System! This allows us to distribute content without the overhead associated with systems like Hotmail and Yahoo Mail |
