S.L.U.T 1999 SCRAPBOOK
OUR GOD JOE SPEAKS:
"...but only to drop a line and say that SLUT was the most fun I have had in
a very long long time.
I was really surprised by how receptive the resort clientele were to our
antics. They really seemed to appreciate the free spirit of the
ultimate crowd. I'll give you a lot of the credit for that. Typically,
I usually see a lot of friction between ultimate and other organized
activities, but with you leading the party spirit they got swept up.
You are quite the character dude, long may you party."
"Beauty lies in the hands of the beer holder." - Janne Granberg
FOUND GODDESS:
Hi Jess-
I got your phone call but I was out of town until last night. Upon my return I have discovered 60 emails awaiting me, mostly from fellow SLUTs..So my email is working..I'm new at all of this so it may take me a bit to figure it all out.
THANKS for such a great time!! I loved my week of being a SLUT and hope to do it again.
..Thanks again for a great vacation/tourney!

MRS. MCPHARLIN'S LAD SEAN SAYS AS FOLLOWS:
"The past three days, at every lunch and dinner, I finish my meal and sit,
confused, addled, wondering why i don't have a beer in one hand and an
ice cream cone in the other.
Isn't that the way it works?
Thanks, all, for making mexico such a good time.
Now, if you'll excuse me, my feet are itchy, and measures must be taken..."

MISTER COMEBACK (UP), AL LIGHTON, SAID:
Just wanted to say thanks to all, and especially Jess, Charles, Mo, and
any of the others that organized the thing. I had a blast and would do it
again in a heartbeat. I look forward to playing with all of you again some
time in the future, maybe HH&H. Joanne and Zach also had a great time. The
format was ideal in that it provided plenty of time with them in addition
to all the Ultimate I (and my blistered feet..OUCH!) could take.
But ya know, after playing St. Pats hat and SLUT, I'm looking at the sport
a little differently these days. Local Coed pickup and Summer league has
always been a bit to swilly for my tastes, but SPH and SLUT had plenty of
high level play without the spirit fouls found all too often at many club
team tourneys. I think a lot of you had already realized this long ago, it
really just dawned on me this year.
Best to all,
Al

CAVEMAN JOHN ADDS THIS:
Wanted to drop you a note for a great tourney... Jenny and I had a
wonderful time.
p.s. I tasted my tequila the other day... I don't remember it seeming so strong down in Sonora
Bay...
