1. Edward¹ Cass #86 was born in Rodley, England November 20, 1825. Edward died February 25, 1904 in South Harbor Creek, PA, at 78 years of age.

He married Elizabeth Smith in Fallston, PA, September 6, 1849. (Elizabeth Smith #71.) Elizabeth was born in Yorkshire, England November 6, 1827. She was the daughter of Ephraim Smith and Ann Lee. Elizabeth died March 5, 1882 in South Harbor Creek, PA, at 54 years of age.

Edward Cass and Elizabeth Smith had the following children:

+ 2 i. Ephriam Ellsworth² Cass was born July 28, 1850.

3 ii. John Smith Cass #106 was born March 28, 1852. John died November 29, 1859 at 7 years of age.

+ 4 iii. George William Cass was born March 23, 1855.

5 iv. Mary Ellen Cass #109 was born in South Harbor Creek, PA December 17, 1859. Mary died August 23, 1916 in South Harbor Creek, PA, at 56 years of age. She married George Roberts March 6, 1889. (George Roberts #110.) George was born in Erie Co., PA 4 Jul. He was the son of Oliver Roberts. George died August 18, 1912 in Erie Co., PA. (See George Roberts for the continuation of this line.)
