4. George William² Cass (Edward¹) #107 was born in South Harbor Creek, PA March 23, 1855. George died March 26, 1940 in South Harbor Creek, PA, at 85 years of age.

He married Lu Ella Cole in South Harbor Creek, PA, August 30, 1881. (Lu Ella Cole #108.) Lu was born in Roseville, IL January 4, 1860. She was the daughter of Samuel Spafford and Clarinda Axtell. Lu died May 12, 1952 at 92 years of age.

George William Cass and Lu Ella Cole had the following children:

11 i. Elizabeth Claire³ Cass #217 was born in South Harbor Creek, PA January 16, 1883. Elizabeth died May 8, 1950 at 67 years of age. She married Alfred King June 1, 1904. (Alfred King #218.) Alfred was born in Greenfield Twp., Erie Co., PA November 15, 1877. Alfred died August 21, 1944 at 66 years of age. (See Alfred King for the continuation of this line.)

+ 12 ii. Ellsworth Axtell Cass was born June 5, 1884.

13 iii. Myrta Luella Cass #221 was born in South Harbor Creek, PA December 27, 1885. She married Ralph Lyman Burgess in at the home of the bride's parents, July 2, 1908. (Ralph Lyman Burgess #222.) Ralph was born in Erie Co., PA November 28, 1886. He was the son of Willis Henry Burgess and Ella Goodwin. Ralph died April 20, 1959 at 72 years of age. 14 iv. Harold John Cass #225 was born in South Harbor Creek, PA June 12, 1896. He married Daisy Patterson McClester in Pittsburg, PA, June 15, 1929. (Daisy Patterson McClester #226.) Daisy was born in Allegheny Co., PA. Daisy died October 1, 1958.

+ 15 v. Herbert Lee Cass was born February 9, 1899.
