Hugh Cunning and Mary Ellen Jones had the following child:

2 i. Mary Alice² Cunning #43 was born in Beaver Falls, PA March 10, 1881. Mary died November 27, 1927 in Ontario, CA, at 46 years of age. She married Edward Smith in New Brighton, PA, August 8, 1907. (Edward Smith #42.) Edward was born in New Brighton, PA August 21, 1873. He was the son of Alexander Fountain Smith and Hannah Rebecca Backus. Edward died May 30, 1963 in CA, at 89 years of age.
