He married Maria Ann Rubins in Marion Co., OH, about 1856. (Maria Ann Rubins #644.) Maria was born in Richland Co., OH May 10, 1836. She was the daughter of William Rubins and Mary A. Tyson. Maria died February 3, 1905 in Keokuk Co., IA, at 68 years of age.
