John Nicholas Bower and Gertrude Demarest had the following child:

2 i. Mary H. W.² Bower #768. She married Edward Henry Rubins September 9, 1858.⁽³²⁵⁾ (Edward Henry Rubins #649.) Edward was born in prob. Hardin Co., OH May 7, 1837. He was the son of Thomas Rubins and Rebecca Humphrey. Edward died October 6, 1885 in prob. near Meeker, OH, at 48 years of age. (See Edward Henry Rubins for the continuation of this line.)
