Socrates Hartle and Henrietta Hendrickson had the following child:

2 i. Matilda² Hartle #906 was born in Hardin Co., OH July 12, 1851. Matilda died March 10, 1912 in Huron, SD, at 60 years of age. She married Henry Ethan Heckathorn in Marseilles Twp., Wyandot Co., OH, March 9, 1876. (Henry Ethan Heckathorn #702.) Henry was born in Goshen Twp., Hardin Co., OH July 18, 1852. He was the son of Daniel Heckathorn and Mary Rubins. Henry died August 25, 1938 in Goshen Twp., Hardin Co., OH, at 86 years of age. (See Henry Ethan Heckathorn for the continuation of this line.)
