He married Maria Barbara Bellinger in Schoharie Lutheran Church, June 9, 1712.⁽³²¹⁾ (Maria Barbara Bellinger #1198.) Maria was born 1686.⁽³²²⁾ She was the daughter of Johannes Bellinger and Anna Margaretha Kuhn. Maria died August 3, 1753.⁽³²³⁾

Jacob H. Borst and Maria Barbara Bellinger had the following children:

2 i. Johan Martin² Borst #1227 was born May 29, 1714.⁽³²⁴⁾ Johan died May 20, 1746 at 31 years of age.

3 ii. Maria Borst #1228 was born February 6, 1715/16.

4 iii. John Balthasar Borst #1230 was born June 1720.

5 iv. Jacob Borst #1231 was born December 28, 1724.

6 v. Michael Borst #1232 was born September 14, 1728.

7 vi. Joost Borst #1233 was born January 14, 1729/30.

8 vii. Johannes Borst #1234 was born September 14, 1735.
