He married Bata Heemstraat in Albany Reformed Church, Albany Co., NY, May 21, 1785.⁽⁵³³⁾ (Bata Heemstraat #165.) Bata was born in Albany, Albany Co., NY July 6, 1768. She was the daughter of Jacob Heemstraat and Catherine DeRet. Bata died about 1835 in Schenectady, NY. "His name also appears in manuscript of "The Colony and State of New York in the Revolutionary War" on file in the ofice of Comptroller of State of New York, volume 5, folio 75 where Benj. Wallos signed a military certificate for pay for services performed by Michael Levey, said certificate being dated June 3, 1785; No. 29043-015:91/3 Michael Levee." copied from Membership application for 'Children of the American Revolultion' for Levee D. Ackerman made Jan. 8, 1908 at St. Johnsville, NY. M.J. Ackerman, Nov. 21, 1977.

5 iii. Catharina Levi #450 was born April 11, 1791.⁽⁵³⁶⁾
