2. Edward² Rubins (Edward¹) #493 was born in Lusby, Lincolnshire, England July 5, 1782. Edward died April 23, 1869 in Wyandot Co., OH, at 86 years of age.

He married Ann Blow in Lusby, Lincolnshire, England, 1808. (Ann Blow #494.) Ann was born in Lusby, Lincolnshire, England January 7, 1785. She was the daughter of Charles Blow and Hannah Brown. Ann died August 24, 1875 in Huron Co., OH, at 90 years of age.

Edward Rubins and Ann Blow had the following children:

+ 3 i. William³ Rubins was born June 23, 1809.

+ 4 ii. Henry Rubins was born September 9, 1811.

+ 5 iii. Thomas Rubins was born August 17, 1813.

6 iv. Maria Rubins #498 was born in Lincolnshire, England August 3, 1816. Maria died October 9, 1891 in New Haven, OH, at 75 years of age.

7 v. Elizabeth Rubins #499 was born in Lincolnshire, England September 2, 1818.

+ 8 vi. Joseph Rubins was born October 23, 1819.

9 vii. Mary Rubins #501 was born in Lincolnshire, England January 19, 1822. Mary died February 12, 1913 in Kenton, OH, at 91 years of age. She married Daniel Heckathorn in OH, April 15, 1841. (Daniel Heckathorn #696.) Daniel was born in Sugar Creek, Seneca Co., OH February 13, 1818. He was the son of John Heckathorn and Dorothy Shimbaugh. 10 viii. Helen Rubins #502 was born in Lincolnshire, England April 2, 1826.⁽⁶²⁷⁾ Helen died November 21, 1894 in Marion Co., OH, at 68 years of age.⁽⁶²⁸⁾ She married twice. She married Joseph H. Higgins in Marion Co., OH, January 1, 1845. (Joseph H. Higgins is #705.) Joseph was born in Mt. Vernon, OH September 20, 1822. He was the son of Myrick Higgins and Hannah Davis. Joseph died January 12, 1850 in Marion Co., OH, at 27 years of age. (See Joseph H. Higgins for the continuation of this line.) She married Ira Anderson 1852. (Ira Anderson is #708.) Ira was born in OH December 1822. He was the son of John Anderson and Sarah Clark. Ira died July 13, 1901 in LaRue, OH. (See Ira Anderson for the continuation of this line.)
