3. William³ Rubins (Edward², Edward¹) #496 was born in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, England June 23, 1809. William died July 26, 1894 in Clay City, IL, at 85 years of age.

He married Mary A. Tyson June 8, 1828. (Mary A. Tyson #642.) Mary was born in Lincolnshire, England April 28, 1810. Mary died March 22, 1895 in East St. Louis, IL, at 84 years of age.

William Rubins and Mary A. Tyson had the following children:

11 i. Mary Ann⁴ Rubins #643 was born in Richland Co., OH 1831. She married William McClinchey about 1850. (William McClinchey #723.) William was born 1827. (See William McClinchey for the continuation of this line.)

12 ii. Marcia Ann Rubins #640 was born in Richland Co., OH April 9, 1832. Marcia died April 1, 1931 in Keswick, Keokuk Co., IA, at 98 years of age. She married Warren Beach Higgins in Marion Co., OH, April 14, 1850. (Warren Beach Higgins #641.) Warren was born in Knox Co., OH February 17, 1825. He was the son of Myrick Higgins and Hannah Davis. Warren died March 4, 1904 in Keokuk Co., IA, at 79 years of age.⁽⁶²⁹⁾

13 iii. Maria Ann Rubins #644 was born in Richland Co., OH May 10, 1836. Maria died February 3, 1905 in Keokuk Co., IA, at 68 years of age. She married Jacob Griner in Marion Co., OH, about 1856. (Jacob Griner #732.) Jacob was born in New York City, NY February 23, 1834. Jacob died March 31, 1903 in Keswick, Keokuk Co., IA, at 69 years of age. 14 iv. Ellenor Ann Rubins #645 was born in Plymouth, OH February 15, 1838. Ellenor died December 11, 1911 in Clay City, IL, at 73 years of age. She married Hugh Mills in Dunkirk, OH, June 3, 1856. (Hugh Mills #749.) Hugh was born in New Cumberland, OH April 6, 1835. He was the son of Johnathan Mills and Sarah Downing (Hibbit) Thompson. Hugh died April 20, 1919 in Clay City, IL, at 84 years of age. (See Hugh Mills for the continuation of this line.)

16 vi. Solomon Smith Rubins #647 was born in Hardin Co., OH February 28, 1849. Solomon died after May 7, 1936 in prob. Clay City, IL. He married Virginia Jackson in Clay City, IL, May 4, 1873. (Virginia Jackson #762.)
