5. Thomas³ Rubins (Edward², Edward¹) #497 was born in Lincolnshire, England August 17, 1813. Thomas died February 12, 1892 in Hardin Co., OH, at 78 years of age.

He married Rebecca Humphrey July 3, 1836. (Rebecca Humphrey #648.) Rebecca was born in VA March 15, 1815.⁽⁶³¹⁾ Rebecca died March 4, 1892 at 76 years of age.

Thomas Rubins and Rebecca Humphrey had the following children:

+ 22 i. Edward Henry⁴ Rubins was born May 7, 1837.

23 ii. Eliza Ann Rubins #650 was born in OH July 13, 1839. Eliza died February 1928 in prob. Wyandot Co., OH. She married John Henry Fink November 5, 1867. (John Henry Fink #779.) John was born in Cloumbus, OH February 9, 1840. He was the son of John Fink and Louisa. John died September 1, 1906 in prob. Wyandot Co., OH, at 66 years of age. 24 iii. Mary Rubins #651 was born in OH about November 29, 1842. Mary died March 15, 1868.

+ 25 iv. Joseph S. Rubins was born October 23, 1843.⁽⁶³²⁾

26 v. Elizabeth Rubins #653 was born in nr. Marseilles, OH November 16, 1845. Elizabeth died May 13, 1891 in Chicago, IL, at 45 years of age. She married N. Johnson August 20, 1885. (N. Johnson #797.) (See N. Johnson for the continuation of this line.)

+ 27 vi. Thomas Byron Rubins was born November 8, 1847.

28 vii. John White Rubins #655 was born September 8, 1852. John died October 11, 1854 at 2 years of age.

29 viii. Rebecca LaDore Rubins #656 was born in OH August 16, 1857.⁽⁶³³⁾
