8. Joseph³ Rubins (Edward², Edward¹) #500 was born in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire, England October 23, 1819. Joseph died October 1890 in Marion Co., OH.⁽⁶³⁴⁾

He married Sarah Ann Sorden October 2, 1849. (Sarah Ann Sorden #671.) Sarah was born August 12, 1831.⁽⁶³⁵⁾ She was the daughter of William Sorden and Sarah. Sarah died June 12, 1908 at 76 years of age.⁽⁶³⁶⁾

Joseph Rubins and Eliza Sorden had the following child:

30 i. Mary Ann⁴ Rubins #675 was born in Marion Co., OH January 9, 1847. Mary died May 16, 1927 in Clinton, OK, at 80 years of age. She married Ezekial Wolverton 1867. (Ezekial Wolverton #676.) Ezekial died 1889 in Clinton, OK. (See Ezekial Wolverton for the continuation of this line.)

Joseph Rubins and Sarah Ann Sorden had the following children:

31 ii. Bruce Rubins #679 was born July 27, 1850. Bruce died August 1, 1865 in OH, at 15 years of age.

33 iv. Anson Rubins #681 was born in OH July 12, 1853. Anson died January 5, 1926 at 72 years of age.

+ 34 v. Peter Paul Rubins was born December 28, 1854.

+ 35 vi. John Charles Fremont Rubins was born August 18, 1856.

37 viii. Edward Rubins #685 was born in OH December 8, 1859. Edward died May 14, 1928 at 68 years of age.

38 ix. William Rubins #687 was born in OH April 5, 1861.⁽⁶³⁷⁾ William died February 15, 1900 at 38 years of age.⁽⁶³⁸⁾

39 x. Sarah Alice Rubins #689 was born in OH February 9, 1863. Sarah died May 17, 1921 in Redlands, CA, at 58 years of age. She married Thomas B. Shrewsbury in Redlands, CA, about 1890. (Thomas B. Shrewsbury #850.) Thomas was born in KY November 19, 1852. Thomas died March 22, 1929 in Redlands, CA, at 76 years of age. (See Thomas B. Shrewsbury for the continuation of this line.)

41 xii. Warren Rubins #691 was born in OH 1868. Warren died May 2, 1889 in OH.⁽⁶³⁹⁾

42 xiii. Rachel Marie Rubins #692 was born in Grand Twp., Marion Co., OH September 22, 1869. Rachel died December 30, 1951 in Upper Sandusky, OH, at 82 years of age. She married David D. Young in Wyandot Co., OH, January 19, 1888. (David D. Young #693.) David was born in Mifflin Twp., Wyandot Co., OH October 28, 1865. He was the son of Edward Young and Sarah Kerr. David died October 5, 1955 in Upper Sandusky, OH, at 89 years of age. (See David D. Young for the continuation of this line.)

43 xiv. Robert Rubins #1888 was born September 22, 1869.
