He married Machteld Jans Post in Albany Dutch Reformed Church, Albany Co., NY, about 1667. (Machteld Jans Post #1954.) Machteld was born 1650. She was the daughter of Jan Post. Machteld died after 1693 in Albany, Albany Co., NY.

Johannes Quackenbosch and Machteld Jans Post had the following children:

+ 5 i. Johannes⁵ Quackenbosch was born 1662.

6 ii. Claartje Quackenbosch #1950 was born in NY about 1680. She married Dirk Takelse Heemstraat in Albany Dutch Reformed Church, Albany Co., NY, November 3, 1700. (Dirk Takelse Heemstraat #1949.) Dirk was born about 1678. He was the son of Taakel Dirckus Heemstraat and Marritje. (See Dirk Takelse Heemstraat for the continuation of this line.)
