2. Walter² Shaner (Danniel¹) #214 was born in South Harbor Creek, PA November 13, 1895.

He married Mabel Carrie Cass in Eire, PA, January 15, 1919. (Mabel Carrie Cass #210.) Mabel was born in South Harbor Creek, PA May 1, 1896. She is the daughter of Ephriam Ellsworth Cass and Caroline Isabell Neff.

Walter Shaner and Mabel Carrie Cass had the following children:

3 i. Dorothy Adelle³ Shaner #353 was born July 1, 1920.

4 ii. Richard Leroy Shaner #354.
