He married Melissa Brown Adams August 23, 1925. (Melissa Brown Adams #1373.) Melissa was born in Elberton, GA June 29, 1914.⁽⁷²⁸⁾ She was the daughter of William Herralson and Maude Brown. Melissa died December 22, 1991 at 77 years of age.⁽⁷²⁹⁾

Robert Hoffman Wiley and Melissa Brown Adams had the following children:
