The Tale of Ginger Buttons This is the autobiography of Ginger Buttons, a rather naughty 8 year old Jack Russell Terrier "mix" who has been adopted from The Humane Society of Napa County by an elderly woman whom Ginger refers to as "my companion", explaining that the woman "might prefer to remain anonymous" (Buttons has some revealing and sometimes uncomplimentary things to say about her).
