Moira Johnston will appear on CNN's "Burden or Proof" on its special Hallowe'en program, this Friday, October 31. She'll be discussing the "spectral evidence" that convicted 19 innocents in Salem 300 years ago, and modern-day parallels with the recovered memory witch hunts.

Breaking News: Holly Ramona states she will not appeal the recent California Court of Appeal dismissal of her case against her father. After seven years, the fat lady has finally sung in the Ramona case.

Everyone who has been touched by the recovered memory wars -- parents and daughters, therapists, lawyers, memory scientists, media, the confused public -- will find themselves in SPECTRAL EVIDENCE. The word Ramona has taken on a symbolic meaning a Napa Valley family could never have imagined: As a family destroyed by the memory wars, Ramona is the prototype for thousands of families ravaged by an epidemic that has struck every state and four nations.

As a landmark trial, Ramona made history by giving an accused father the right to sue the therapists he charged with planting false memories of incest in his daughter's mind; it's malpractice verdict turned the tide of memory wars.

Politically, Ramona is a rallying cry for reform of therapy, a return to science and reason, and an end to the wars; for the controversy that continues to rage in America's courtroom, Ramona is a lightning rod which focuses the fundamental disagreements which must be resolved.

An insight into the decade's most divisive social issue and a blueprint for, finally, ending the wars, Ramona has inspired "the most powerful and influential book of the recovered memory wars."*

Moira Johnston has created this site for the purpose of being an open forum to discuss the different opinions and views surrounding the recovered memories. Her goal is to halt the battles and bind the wounds of the memory wars. Please feel free to post your opinions on the Disscussion Board, or go live with real-time chat and talk to others interested in or affected by recovered memories.
