Yes. That's a valid "psychological" principle in some situations, ignore the unwanted behavior, and it will extinguish.. But, I'm afraid the kooky therapists were ignored for too long. They are the ones who declared war on the innocent in the first place, aren't they?. The "peaceful" approach has allowed a lot of questionable legislation, regulations, and legal cases to get through.
If this board is "territory" then my personal view is that the territory must be defended.. I intend to try to label any false posts made in my screen name. Whoever is forging posts may get tired of it, since I *believe* they are outnumbered. Also, the absurdity, when carried too far tends to discredit the "faker".
Can we "mice" put a bell on the "cat"? I'm open to further discussion---- I'm just not convinced. In the extreme, the board would be abandoned to the rioters.
"Trolls" as I understand it, try to create a crossfire in the discussion, and step aside, watching and laughing.
Honest responsible disagreement can rapidly further understanding. I'm not so confident of my beliefs and experiences that I can't listen to the "other" side. If your beliefs survive the best the other side can throw up, you are getting stronger. If someone here (me?) is persistently posting boilerplate without much new in it, I believe it can be covered with boilerplate as easily as ignored. I have definitely concluded that KJ is not what "she" represents herself as. In that sense, your "Pearls to the ***** makes sense. But, I seem to have plenty, myself, and do not begrudge distribution.
I value this board as a source of new information. Sometimes that comes from the other side. "Know your enemy".

Seeing that it was freezing, the lumberjack carried it to a fresh warm cowpie, and stuck it in, up to its neck. The bird started feeling much better, and began to sing merrily. Then a fox came by, and gobbled it up.
Moral?
Whoever put you in the s*** isn't necessarily your enemy. Whoever takes you out of it isn't necessarily your friend. When you are up to your neck in it, keep your mouth shut.
