Tours

The park provides tours for both the general public and for elementary school students.


General Public
Regularly scheduled docent led tours are available every Friday, Saturday and Sunday that the park is open at the following times and locations:

Mission San Francisco Solano- 12:00 noon

Downtown Historic Walking Tour- 1:00 PM

Meets at the Mission and visits the Sonoma Barracks, the Blue Wing Inn, and the Casa Grande site.

General Vallejo's House- 2:00 PM

The Toscano Hotel
This early California Hotel is open for touring every Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

Japanese language tours are available by appointment for all of the above sites except the Toscano Hotel. Call (707) 996-9688.

Special group tours for your organization are encouraged and can be arranged by calling (707) 935-1787.

There is no extra charge for the above lisited tours.


 

Elementary School Tours
The park provides staff guided tours for elementary school students at Mission San Francisco Solano, General Vallejo's House and the Petaluma Adobe Rancho. Classroom visitors are scheduled in time blocks at 10:30 AM, 11:45 AM, and 1:00 PM Monday through Friday. Reservations are required at least 15 days in advance and there is a reservation fee. The Sonoma Barracks is available for visiting or viewing of a video during the same reserved time slots. For more information and reservations call the main District Office at (707) 938-9557.
