330 PC Club Kill-pot Rules

What

A kill-pot is when the limits for the next hand double and the winner of the last hand will be forced to post double the blind/ante/forced bet amount. The winner who forced the kill-pot is known as the killer. Kill-pots do not apply to scratcher tournaments.

When

A kill-pot is declared as follows:

1. Non-split pot games: whenever one player wins two consecutive hands.

2. Split-pot games (hi-low, High Chicago, etc.): whenever one player qualifies for and wins both hands in one pot. A three-way split pot (as occasionally occurs in Omaha 8) will still qualify as a kill-pot.

3. During a kill-pot the killer wins. (Rule 2 in effect if a split-pot game).

Kill-pot limits

50¢ to $2 anytime, 50¢ to $4 on the last betting round.

Or

$2 to $8 anytime, $16 on the end.

Marker

During non-split pot games a kill lamer will be included in the pot. It shall sit in front of the winner of the last hand as a marker. The lamer will be returned to the pot if the player holding the lamer folds their hand. If a player with a kill lamer is pushed a pot it can easily be seen that the next pot is a kill-pot. The dealer button will be turned from OFF to ON indicating a kill-pot.

A kill lamer is not required during split-pot games as any player scooping a pot both ways will automatically force a kill-pot in the next hand. The dealer button will be turned to ON.
