Tuscan Food and Wine Extravaganza
While researching Italy last
spring, I had the good fortune to meet Signora Parretti, the owner of Archibusseri Viaggio
in Florence. Patrizia is a native Florentine and with her assistance I discovered Tuscan
cooking schools, trattorias, wineries, and artistic treasures. It is my great pleasure to
share with you the wonders of my Tuscan Food and Wine Extravaganza Tour.
Imagine a serpentine
cobblestone road winding its way up a Florentine hill to a quaint villa perched high above
the city. The owner of this lovely estate, is sculptor, musician, painter, poet and Tuscan
chef, Signor Riccardo. This handsome and very personable man has invited us to his home to
view his art, read poetry, listen to music and sample his rustic Tuscan cooking.
You will have the pleasure
to tour, taste and dine al fresco with the owner of Trebbio Castle, a private 12th century
villa. On another day, Patrizia has invited you to participate in a cooking demonstration
at her beautiful Florentine home situated in the panoramic hillsides high above the city.
These are only a sampling of the surprises that await you on my Tuscan Food and Wine
Extravaganza Tour.
This unique and personable
tour led by Chef David and his very good friends, Marco, Pauline and Signora Parritti is
an experience you will treasure for many years to come. I hope to share with you the
splendors of Tuscany from an insiders point of view.
