Chef David's Food and Wine Extravaganza
It is with great pleasure that I will once again
escort a small select group of people to some of the most famous and exclusive wineries in
the Napa Valley (some are so exclusive we cant print their names on the
internet!). As a long time resident of the Napa Valley, I designed the Food & Wine
Extravaganza utilizing my close and personal Wine Country connections. These intimate
relationships developed during my years in the Napa Valley make it possible for our
clients to access wineries generally not open to the public.
I created the Food and Wine
Extravaganza because I want to share with you my enthusiasm for the fine food and premium
wines the Wine Country offers. During your tour you will taste ultra premium wines at a
winery with panoramic views of the Napa Valley. A special addition to this years tour will
be a private cooking demonstration led by Chef Maria Helm from Robert Sinskey Winery and
San Franciscos famous Plump Jack Restaurant. Maria will fire up your appetites while
teaching classic cooking techniques.
Can we ever have too much
wine knowledge? We dont think so. One of Napa Valleys leading wine
authorities, Beringer Estates Kim Cafferey, will grace us with an extremely
informative wine seminar. Kim also happens to be a local comedian so be careful not to
spill your wine. We are exceptionally pleased to announce you will have the pleasure of a
private tour and tasting at Napa Valleys most prestigious winery: Robert
Mondavis Opus 1.
The tour ends with a gala
five course farewell dinner in the caves of a prestigious winery. Its a very special
night for you to share your memories of a very special trip with Wine & Dine Toursand
Events.
