Wine & Dine Tours^{and Events} meets and greets you at your Bay Area location for a mid-morning tour departure. Your Wine & Dine Tours host gives you a fun and informative overview of the Wine Country on your way to the first winery.

On the western side of the valley, between Richie Creek and Lyman Creek, you will find this winery. When the McCrea’s fell in love with and bought the 160-acre goat ranch on the slope of Spring Mountain in 1943, little did they know that fifty years later they would be producing some of the best Chardonnay in the Napa Valley. On your tour and tasting today you’ll learn about one of the unique qualities of this winery, they don’t produce any red wines. But don’t get discouraged, this is one of the only Chardonnays in the Wine Country that can be aged for ten to fifteen years.

Join the winemaker on a private tour, then sit-down to an al fresco gourmet luncheon on the beautiful grounds of the winery. Taste award-winning Merlot, and meet the real owner of the winery, their Yellow Lab, Bo. This private winery luncheon is just one of many memorable experiences you'll have with Wine & Dine Tours^{and Events}.

Established in 1967, this winery was the second new winery built in the valley since Prohibition, and one of the earliest to actively pursue hillside farming. Located on the eastern slopes of the Napa Valley above Lake Hennessey, the winery is nestled in a natural amphitheater on Pritchard Hill. The spectacular geometric winery, designed by the family, is a section from a tetrahedron which forms a pyramid. This afternoon you will tour and taste at this fascinating small winery.

Finally we will visit a winery which was one of the first wineries built in the Napa Valley. The original winery was founded in 1871 and produced wine until Prohibition in 1920. The winery, including the original tunnel, has since been restored. Today, annual production is under 1,200 cases of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The label is the original design that was introduced in 1871, displaying the historic Bale Mill.

Restaurant reservations can be made for those not interested in dining at a winery. We encourage you to purchase a case of wine at the winery where you have lunch.
