Squaw Valley Resort
This classic little valley once
hosted the Winter Olympics and that is still reflected in the theme today. The backdrop mountains
string together the ski area across six peaks. Experts to intermediates are hard pressed to exhaust
their options as they travel across the breadth of the place. KT22 and Olympic Lady offer
classic examples of, "steep and deep" runs. There is a base lodge at six thousand feet and another,
more involved complex at eight thousand. Recent additions to "High Camp" include an ice rink,
swimming lagoon and spa. Other activities are offered year-round such as bungee jumping, indoor
rock climbing, cable car rides and nightskiing.
