VAIL SKI AREA

surveying China BowlA vast and beautiful mountain that is hard to cover in a day. Plenty here for all skiing levels, from the varied and fun frontside, to the adventure awaiting in the huge China Bowl area at the backside. Aspen groves highlight oceans of wide open snow. Hidden cornices, giant moguls, and deep powder reward the curious. Other snow activities include tubing, iceskating, snowshoeing, snowmobiles, sledding and biking. Fortunately, the festive small town area leading into the resort is blocked-off to traffic. The small streets are lined with apres ski activity, good restaurants, bars and street patios bustling with activity.
